To show off its beauty and versatility\, Anthony will play works by Leo Sowerby (‘Comes Autumn Time’)\, J.S. Bach (Passacaglia)\, Franz Liszt (‘Orpheus’)\, and Louis Vierne (‘Feux follets’\, ‘Clair de Lune’\, Toccata). \nAnthony is particularly well-known for his prize-winning improvisations\, and the program will end with an improvisation on a submitted theme – which he won’t know until he opens the envelope containing it! \nAt 6:30 pm\, there will be a pre-concert discussion covering the historic nature of the organ and the upcoming console project and diving deeper into the program’s work.
